Grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, chicken, fish and ribs. Sides include corn on the cob, coleslaw, various salads, and similar picnic food, plus cookies and soft serve ice cream for dessert.
Summary
Located near the snorkeling lagoon, this is the closest restaurant to the dock. If you’re on the island early, you’ll smell the charcoal burning when the crew starts cooking lunch. Most of the food is on par with what you’d find at a typical picnic. The most common complaint we hear is that the food is overcooked. Hamburgers and hot dogs are the safest bets. The ribs are hit-or-miss, and the chicken is usually on the dry side. If you find something you like, feel free to go back for seconds – just like on the ship, it’s all-you-care-to-eat on Castaway Cay.
The nearest seating to Cookie’s BBQ is a set of picnic tables under a roofed, open-air pavilion. The picnic tables can seat 6 to 8 people comfortably. If your family is smaller than that, you may be asked to share a table. Besides these, several other nearby, covered seating areas are available.
