Hop on this 125-foot slide, featuring a drop door with a 70-degree-angle descent, straight through the heart of the mountain. Drumbeats building up to the drop get your heart pounding, but the plunge itself is over before you have time to scream. You won’t be able to see much with all the water in your face, but other guests can watch your splashdown through a clear tube located between Waturi Beach’s wave pool and The Reef pool. As with all body slides, cross your ankles, fold your arms across your chest, and arch your back for the best ride. Ko’okiri’s queue moves the slowest of the extreme body slides, so daredevils should make it one of their first stops. Note that you must climb more than 200 steps to reach the top of this slide.
