Each year Disney pre-films all of their holiday specials that air on ABC through Christmas. All of the parade segments are filmed in Disneyland in California, but many of the stage productions and some spots in the parks are filmed in Walt Disney World.

Most notably, the major stage segments for the specials are filmed on the Castle Stage in the Magic Kingdom although these rarely impact anything in the park other than the schedules for any other shows on that stage. A crowd will be noticed in the hub, but it is made up solely of off-duty Cast Members. Any filming throughout the parks will be seen, and may slightly impact walkways, but will not add to any wait times. While the crowds around filming areas can be larger, there is no reason to avoid any parks during the filming.
