1923
1923 is divided into two separate dining rooms: The Roy Disney Room and the Walt Disney Room. This subdivision cuts down on the cavernous feeling, and the noise, that’s endemic to the other DCL main dining rooms. The vibe is old Hollywood glamor. If you’re familiar with the Carthay Circle restaurant at Disney California Adventure, you’re in the right ballpark, but this is sleeker and more refined. The artwork consists of more than 1,000 drawings and props illustrating the early days of the Disney family and their days in California.
1923 has DCL’s highest quality rotational dining food. Every dish we’ve had here has been delicious. The 1923 name comes from the year that the Disney brothers founded their now iconic company, but the space is an homage to the brothers themselves more than their namesake products.
