Sitting just off the atrium, and done in the same Art Nouveau style, Bon Voyage is one of the prettiest bars on the Fantasy. Behind the bar are two gold and white peacocks etched in glass, while the bar’s face is a translucent gold marble. Cinnamon-colored wood accents complete the look.
Bon Voyage has just ten seats at the counter, plus two fabric-covered couches and six armchairs a few feet away. The bar menu is similar to those at La Piazza, and includes draft and bottled beer, wines by the glass and bottle, spirits and mixed drinks, including a few special fruit-flavored martinis.
Located near the atrium, and open from around noon to 11 p.m. daily, Bon Voyage is a good spot for groups to meet before dinner or to have a nightcap before departing for the elevators. Because it’s in a heavily-trafficked area, there’s no live entertainment at the bar, nor is it our first choice for a quiet drink or conversation.
Both the Fantasy and Dream have Bon Voyage bars located just off the Deck 3 atrium; the Promenade Lounges are the comparable bars on the Wonder and Magic. The Dream’s Bon Voyage bar is the most appealing, even without live entertainment.
