Azure is the Wonder’s dance club with tasteful muted decor in blues and browns. The undulating woodwork on the walls and ceiling give an almost under-the-sea fee. Padded chairs surround small, round tables, and because WaveBands doubles as an activity space for families during the day (Bingo, anyone?), there’s plenty of room to sit.

An interesting feature of Azure is that the ship’s crew will sometimes don costumes and lead dances on the dance floor. Thus, you may see crewmembers barely old enough to drink, doing their best John Travolta white disco suit imitation. Depending on how much the people around you are participating (which is probably linked to how much the people around you are drinking), this is either funny or sad. Do the kids a favor and jump out on the dance floor.

Comparing the Ships

Azure is most similar to dance clubs Fathoms on the Magic, Evolution on the Dream, and The Tube on the Fantasy. The 2016 update of this space improved the lighting, making Azure easier on the eyes than the other dance spaces.
