Disney Wonder, Deck 3 Forward

Summary

The Cadillac Lounge, on Deck 3 Forward, is the Wonder’s piano bar. Cadillac Lounge’s décor pays tribute to 1950’s-era Cadillac cars by way of leather upholstered bar stools and chairs, couches formed like automobile rear seats, and a bar built into a replica of the front of a Cadillac Coupe de Ville, complete with working headlights.

“Designed by General Motors” isn’t something we normally listen for when discussing bar theming, but it works in the Cadillac Lounge. The furnishings, with dark woods, burgundy, gold and fuschia carpets, leather-covered walls, chrome accents and those butter-and-chocolate colored leather bar stools, clearly indicate that this is a bar of a very specific time and place.

The best seats in the house are in the far corner opposite the main entrance, to the right of the piano player. These seats include a comfortable leather couch and two leather armchairs, plus a side table to hold drinks. From here you can listen to the music and watch some of the action at the bar, tucked away in your own discreet corner of the lounge.

The Cadillac Lounge is often used for group seminars during the day, on everything from wine and spirits tastings, to homeopathic treatments such as acupuncture. Check your Personal Navigator for details. The bar typically opens anywhere from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Children are admitted into the Cadillac Lounge until 9 p.m., when it becomes an adults-only venue until its midnight closing.

Live entertainment usually begins with a show around 7:30 p.m.; a typical night’s schedule will have more performances around 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 p.m. The pianists are generally good, if nondescript, and will play medleys of well-known songs ranging from Frank Sinatra to Elton John. Some nights include themes, such as “50’s and 60’s Hits,” “Elvis,” or “Simon and Garfunkel,” and you can always make requests.

The Cadillac Lounge serves beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails, and is the only bar in the After Hours area to serve champagne by the glass (the Outlook Café does, too, on Deck 10 Forward). Coffee, cappuccino and espresso are available, too, but we’d recommend the Cove Café if you’re looking for that. Free snacks and appetizers are available in the evening.

Comparing the Ships

The Cadillac Lounge’s sister bar is Keys on the Disney Magic. We don't have a preference between the two. The food and drink menus are similar. The furnishings at the Cadillac Lounge execute that lounge’s theme of 1950’s glamor. Keys doesn't have a theme per se, which some folks seem to enjoy more.
