Before you read our sad, burnt tale, it's important to know that the pleasantness of the staff and the happy location influenced us enough to try this location again soon. Ok. Disclaimer out of the way, this was not good. Let's discuss.
The biggest heartbreak was the burnt naan. Not just well done, but burnt. Like the charcoal is still in my teeth. And it wasn't just one piece, it was the Garlic Naan, the Buttered Naan, the Bread Service, and we're guessing the Chicken Tikka Naan Pizza would have been burnt too but it never showed up. The reason we know this can't be their usual standard is because we are familiar with Maneet Chauhan's recipes and devotion to the art of bread. If you've ever dug into one of her cookbooks, you'll know she espouses flowery prose about the many types of bread she makes, their preparation, rise, crust, shape... Ms. Chauhan goes on about bread the way Romeo went on about Juliet. The way Len gushes about Horizons or the Steelers or Van Halen. By all accounts she is exacting and passionate about bread and we're guessing she would have been just as sad about the plates of bread disaster we were served.
eet Bread Service with Pimento Whipped Paneer - Who doesn't love bread service!?! We are enormous fans of traditional Indian flavors and are total suckers for anything with multiple dips and chutney options. Except this bread service. The Pimeno Whipped Paneer was giving less Indian leaning and more "Sitting on a dock on Lake Hartwell eating my pimento cheese sandwich before I go wakeboarding again." Except I was never able to stay up on the wakeboard and my sandwich was never lined with ash. The coriander honey was 2tbs of honey with a faint flavor of coriander maybe being stored in the same room. The chutney options were overwhelmingly underwhelming and that was a huge disappointment - even aside from the bread kindling.Bowl - The Tandoori Chicken was decent but we just didn't enjoy the Tikka sauce. It felt like a watered down version of other tikka sauces we've had over the years. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't great. The rice was fine and the other elements were unremarkable simply because the stars - the bread and the sauce - weren't good.
Summary: We are rooting for this location and the sweet staff swayed us enough that we're willing to try again. Stay tuned.

What’s it like inside?
Spacious, colorful, and clean. The server taking our order was lovely. She was patient as we ordered several dishes and asked lots of questions. She even recommended the Samosa Chopped Salad which we ended up ordering. She also explained the process for getting our food - a nice touch for folks who may be new to the whole buzzer process. We often delight in details like this - it's the extra bit that gets someone back in the door even when things go wrong. (Insert foreshadowing here.)
Indoor and outdoor seating is plentiful.
What are the specialties?
Kids' Meals - the chicken fingers, sliders, fries and rice were a huge hit with the little folks in our group. The burgers were on tiny rolls similar to a chicken mini or a Hawaiian roll. No complaints from the minors on any of these. Also, no leftovers.
Samosa Chopped Salad - the lettuce was fresh and the dressing was tart and bright. While the tiny samosas had a good flavor, we didn't think $15 was a good value.
