Walt Disney - A Magical Life is a tribute to Walt Disney and the park he built in 1955. The pre-show lobby contains hundreds of pictures of Walt and early Disneyland, original furniture from his private apartment in the park, and several actual animatronics from famous rides in the park's history, such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Enchanted Tiki Room. The main show itself features a lengthy video presentation about Walt's early career in animation, the early days of the Disney company, the creation of Mickey Mouse, and the creation of Disneyland. The show culminates with an appearance from Walt himself, in animatronic form. Walt is rendered in stunning detail, and actual voice clips are used along with mannerisms and gestures programmed into the life-sized robot recreation.

Eventually the show will alternate in Main Street Opera House with Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, but in Summer 2025 the Walt Disney show will run continuously (barring technical difficulties) in order to meet demand.
