Description And Comments

While the Character Spot is now closed, the characters can still be met in Epcot. Mickey is at the Imagination Pavilion, Minnie is in the gazebo near World Showcase Plaza, Goofy is near Spaceship Earth, and Daisy is in Future World East.

In the former Innoventions West, in the breezeway heading toward The Land, Epcot Character Spot offers the chance to meet Disney characters indoors, in air-conditioned comfort. Characters on hand are typically Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Goofy.

Directly next door you will find separate meeting areas for Joy and Sadness from Pixar’s Inside Out and Baymax from Big Hero Six. You may also find Chip ’n’ Dale nearby outside.

Touring Tips

This attraction offers Lightning Lane.
The Lightning Lane program is currently suspended at Walt Disney World.

The Character Spot should be your first stop if you have small children. Make FastPass+ reservations for Soarin’ for around 9:30 a.m. so you can proceed there directly after getting autographs. The venue typically stays open until 9 p.m., even when other Future World attractions close at 7 p.m., and usually until around 10:45 p.m. during evening Extra Magic Hours, when Epcot is open until 11 p.m. or later.
