Description And Comments
The long-running Beauty and the Beast show combines a shortened (but complete) retelling of the story with all of the major musical numbers, with tons of characters and good set decoration. The theater affords a clear field of vision from almost every seat. Best of all, a canopy protects the audience from the Florida sun (or rain), but the theater still gets mighty hot in the summer.
Touring Tips
Beauty and the Beast usually runs from midmorning to around 4 p.m. The show is so popular that you should arrive 25–35 minutes early to get a good seat. If you can’t make it in time, there’s overflow seating outside: Two sets of bleachers offer perfect views of the stage. They aren’t covered, though, so drink plenty of water and apply sunscreen as needed.
