What should you know?

One of the best quick dining options in Hollywood Studios. Most items here are above-average quality. The Tip Yip chicken is moist and flavorful, as are the vegetable kefta in the Felucian Garden Spread; the ribs, however, are difficult to eat.

If you have picky eaters in your crew note that the kids’ menu isn’t particularly kid-friendly: In keeping with the idea that you’re on an alien planet, many of the foods come in unfamiliar shapes and colors.

What’s it like inside?

Docking Bay 7 is supposed to be a traveling diner run by Chef Strono "Cookie" Tuggs, featuring meat, fish, and plant-based dishes, with desserts drinks.

Like many Disney World quick-service restaurants, seating at Docking Bay 7 is entirely indoors and spread across multiple rooms. If you send some of your group ahead to find seats while you wait for your food, make sure one of them comes back to tell you where they're sitting, or have them text you their location.

What are the specialties?

Smoked Kaadu Ribs, named after the creature Jar Jar Binks rode in Episode I but actually pork, are cut vertically to give them an alien appearance, then glazed with a sticky-sweet sauce and served with down-home blueberry corn muffins. Endorian Tip Yip (chicken) is roasted on a salad or compressed into cubes, deep-fried, and served with mac and cheese and roasted vegetables.

Vegans will rejoice at meatless menu items featuring Impossible Foods, while pescatarians can try the chilled Peka Tuna Poke.

For dessert there's the Outpost Puff, it’s a chocolate pastry filled with Guajillo chocolate mousse with Thai tea Panna Cotta, spiced pineapple, and, as the menu describes it, confectionary debris.

If breakfast is offered, try the Bright Suns Morning: eggs with cheese, potatoes, and pork sausage. The Rising Moons Overnight Oats, blended with yogurt and topped with seasonal fruit, are delicious.
