Ranked #1 of 12 Table Service Options at Universal Orlando

Located in
            Universal CityWalk

Universal Studios concept, the colorful Antojitos offers unique and craveable tapas-style Mexican food, serving handcrafted tortillas, made-while-you-watch guacamole, and fresh sauces for a taste of Mexico City.
For starters, you’ll probably want a drink, and Antojitos has Orlando’s best tequila selection this side of Epcot’s La Cava. Order from the four-sided bar on the ground floor or from the converted Volkswagen bus outside the entrance. If you don’t do straight shots, try a signature drink such as The Horse You Rode In On (garnished with an expensive Amarena black cherry).
When it comes to the food, while it’s pricier than your local taco joint, Antojitos prepares familiar plates with exceptionally fresh ingredients. The table-side guacamole is a must-have that will convert the most hardened avocado-hater, and the esquites (roasted corn with cotija cheese and jalapeño mayo) is almost a meal in itself. The portion sizes of the enchiladas and tacos aren’t enormous, but you’ll probably be full after the free chips (served hot with house-made salsa) and the excellent rice and beans accompanying most entrées. The comidas de la casa include some holdovers from the shortlived upscale menu briefly served on the second floor; the churrasco steak and orange-marinated salmon are wonderfully seasoned.

What’s it like inside?
This festive postmodern tribute to Mexican street culture features a large open kitchen framed by graffiti graphics and eye-catching neon, with the central bar and surrounding booths fashioned from reclaimed wood and metal. The downstairs can get very noisy, so if you want a quieter meal, ask for one of the private rooms upstairs. Or grab a seat on the patio or balcony to watch the CityWalk crowds go by.
What are the specialties?
Roasted corn casserole (esquites), quesadillas, enchiladas, tacos, fajitas, grilled salmon, churrasco steak, and flan.
