The next Night of Joy will be held Sept 8-9, 2017, at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. (NOTE: The Saturday, September 9, Night of Joy event has been CANCELLED due to Hurricane Irma.)
In 2016, Night of Joy activities were relocated to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (previously, the event was hosted in Magic Kingdom). There were both indoor and outdoor performances. Night of Joy guests may still receive theme park admission, depending on ticket type purchased.
The 2017 performers are:
- Friday, September 8: MercyMe, TobyMac, Natalie Grant, Danny Gokey, Matt Maher, Colton Dixon, Rend Collective, and Zach Williams.
- Saturday, September 9 (cancelled): Amy Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman, Kirk Franklin, Jordan Feliz, Crowder, Jeremy Camp, and Tye Tribbett.
Advance Purchase Prices for 2017:
- A single-night, concert ticket (either Friday or Saturday): $45 plus tax
- A two-night concert ticket (which includes both nights' concerts): $69 plus tax
- Add 1-Day, 1-Park Theme Park Ticket: Add $62 plus tax
- Add Premium Concert Seating: Add $30 plus tax
Walt Disney World Resort guests attending Night of Joy may enjoy transportation to ESPN Complex from all four theme parks (Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom), Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, and Disney’s Pop Century Resort from 4:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. Throughout the event and upon its conclusion, transportation from ESPN Complex also runs to all Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. Guests attending Disney Night of Joy but staying off property are encouraged to use their personal transportation to travel to and from ESPN Complex.
