Renaissance Orlando Resort – Disney Springs Area

Last updated: October 24, 2025

Overview

Located within walking distance of shops and restaurants and situated 5 miles or less from the Disney parks, the 394-room Renaissance Orlando Resort And Spa targets couples, families, groups, and business travelers.

Decorated in cool blues, whites, and grays, guest rooms and suites afford views of downtown Orlando, area lakes, and theme parks. Each room is outfitted with sleek modern furnishings and a large interactive flat-screen TV. Additional touches include a mini-fridge and gaming consoles (available on request). Some rooms are also equipped with bunk beds, kitchenettes, or wet bars.

Our most recent stay at Renaissance Orlando Resort And Spa was in early 2015, and we enjoyed it quite a bit. Our standard room was spotlessly clean, and the room decor is fun without being faddish. The bathroom is spacious, with plenty of storage. The glass shower is well designed and has good water pressure. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel at this price point, except for the terrible traffic you have to endure every night because of Disney Springs. And that’s a shame because it’s not the hotel’s doing. If the B were on the other side of Disney Springs, we’d gladly stay here again.

A mom from Tennessee also likes Renaissance Orlando Resort And Spa, especially when it’s on sale:

The vibe of the Renaissance Orlando Resort And Spa was great—like a knockoff of the W, very bright and modern. The restaurant was great, and the zero-entry pool was good. The resort has a more adult feel, but I never felt out of place with my son. I found a deal on Orbitz for around $310 for three nights, with taxes and fees. If choosing between the Renaissance Orlando and Pop Century for a short stay, I’d take the Renaissance Orlando Resort And Spa hands-down.

Amenities include free Wi-Fi, a spa, a beauty salon, and a fitness center. The main restaurant, American Kitchen, serves a modern upscale take on classic comfort food in regional styles. Guests can also choose from a poolside bar and grill; The Pickup, a grab-and-go shop off the lobby that serves breakfasts, snacks, picnic lunches, and ice cream; and 24/7 in-room dining. Other perks: a zero-entry pool with interactive water features; a kids’ area; loaner iPads; Monscierge, a touchscreen concierge and destination guide in the lobby; and more than 25,000 square feet of meeting and multiuse space. Though not served by Disney transportation, Renaissance Orlando Resort And Spa provides bus service to the parks and other Disney venues. A hefty daily resort fee applies.
