Similar to Remy onboard the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy, Enchanté offers the most luxurious dining experience on board, featuring a gourmet menu crafted by three-Michelin-starred Chef Arnaud Lallement — of L’Assiette Champenoise, near Reims, France. He’s one of the culinary masterminds behind the French-inspired fine dining experience at Remy.
This romantic and intimate venue is themed around Lumiere, the candelabra from the live action version of Beauty and the Beast. Enchante looks more like a spa than the spa does. The carpet is an ocean blue with dabs of white and gold echoing the ocean below. Nearly everything else in the restaurant is in shades of cream and gold - it’s so clean and lovely that we’d be a little nervous to order red wine here lest we spill and taint the aura of cleanliness. Each table is decorated with a dried dark blue rose, which feels out of place in a slightly macabre way. The show stopping centerpiece of the restaurant is a floor-to-ceiling chandelier in gold tones and bubble-shaped orbs. The entryway walls feature displays of artful candelabras and a selection of the ship’s finest wines.
The menu will feature superior products and seasonal ingredients sourced from around the world to create international dishes, masterfully developed by Chef Lallement.
At dinner, Enchante offers both a la carte and prix fixe options. The prix fixe “passion” menu at $135 feature is six courses: soil-grown tomatoes with 12-hour confit; John Dory served with sea urchin and plankton; wild halibut with onion confit and vermouth sauce; squab pigeon fermiere with turnip relish; a cheese cart and dessert. The $195 “collection” menu includes some of these items plus rare or unique upgrades such as Waygu beef, langoustines, caviar, Maine lobster, or seasonal specialties.
Brunch ($75) features tomato pie, braised pork with salad, halibut with creamy scrambled eggs, chicken with gnocchi, and dessert.
All meals can be accompanied by wine or champagne pairings.
A meal at Enchante is one of the finest culinary experiences you can have at sea. The service, presentation, and flavors are peerless. Expect your meal to take several hours. If you want a really good version of a meal you might find at home, choose Palo for your adult dining. If you want to expand your palate and have one of the best meals of your life, choose Enchante.
