What should you know?

With such touches as a sign that advises ARTIFACTS NO LONGER TAKEN AS PAYMENT, Jock Lindsey’s is long on gimmicks—not a bad thing if you’re a movie buff, but the food and drinks take a back seat to the gimmickry.

What’s it like inside?

The backstory: A 1940s-era airplane hangar belonging to Indiana Jones’s indefatigable pilot has been converted to a bar. Naturally, references to Indy Jones and aviation suffuse the decor (a mammoth propeller dangling from the rafters, for example). Booth, bar, and table seating are available, all of it kid-friendly, as is covered outdoor seating.

What are the specialties?

The wings, tacos, and flatbreads, while fancifully named, are standard-issue bar grub that you could get at virtually any chain “neighborhood grill.”
