Description And Comments

This theater has had just three films in semi-permanent residence during its 35-year history, all of them 3-D: Magic Journeys, a look inside childhood imaginations, ran from 1982 to 1986. Captain EO, an epic space opera and long-form music video starring Michael Jackson, ran from 1986 to 1994 and again from 2010 through 2015; and Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, a spin-off of Disney’s Honey, I Shrunk the Kids films, for 17 years: from 1994 to 2010.

In more recent years, the theater has seen a rotating cast of previews and short films. The current Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival at least makes good use of the theater's unique motion capabilities. The Film Festival includes the following animated short films in 3D:

  • Get A Horse!
  • Piper
  • Feast

Touring Tips

The theater is almost never full, so go anytime.
