Disney Springs in West Side

Entrée Range

Lunch: Adult $10-34 ◆ Dinner: Adult $10-34

One of the only remaining tenants of the original West Side, Crossroads at House of Blues continues to serve as a Southern and soul food workhorse of Disney Springs. Recent years have seen interior additions and an expanded outdoor patio, proving this classic still has a place in diners’ hearts. The Sunday gospel brunch buffet is always popular, but the celebrity chef-influenced standard menu crafted by Aaron Sanchez has been gussied up from previous iterations, attempting a higher standard of food that is sometimes, but not always met with success.

Setting and Atmosphere

Packed to the gills with mesmerizing folk art, nearly every surface of the interior and exterior of House of Blues draws the eye with interest. It is impossible not to gawk at the walls as you dine – even your dining companions will understand. Live musicians often croon at the outdoor bar area, with ample seating available to enjoy, should the weather cooperate.

Crossroads at House of Blues feels, otherwise, perhaps more than any other restaurant at Disney Springs, like your neighborhood chain restaurant. Servers are personable and friendly and the kitchen is quick and low-frills; this location won’t blow your mind in concept, but it does work hard to impress where it counts.

House Specialties

Voodoo Shrimp, a beer-braised shrimp dish served atop house jalapeno cornbread is a popular appetizer to share, alongside classics like wings and loaded fries. Cajun jambalaya, barbeque plates, and burgers topped with spice-infused ingredients are your best bets for entrees. For dessert, the table is guaranteed to be wowed by the massive serving of bourbon caramel bread pudding.

Other Recommendations

Anything barbecued here is a safe bet, which includes many of the sandwiches as well as some of the Southern Tacos and the brisket nachos. Dress it all up with the restaurant’s three signature sauces, the Texas spicy, Carolina mustard, and Memphis smoky.
