Disney Springs in The Landing

Seafood, steaks

Entree Range

Seafood really takes center stage here, with Paddlefish featuring some of the freshest selections available at Walt Disney World. Though not quite as upscale-feeling as other signature restaurants, given its sheer size and usual small wait for a table, the restaurant’s views and menus make it a date night destination or family “fancy” dinner option while exploring Disney Springs. Service and food quality can sometimes vary from visit to visit, though, as meals at Paddlefish have been consistently inconsistent.

Setting and Atmosphere

Formerly home to Fulton’s Crab House, Paddlefish reopened in early 2017 with a modern aesthetic, making the stationary “steamship” seem more like a classy yacht than a classic paddleboat. Sleek design and muted colors inside don’t distract from the views offered from the large picture windows at the sides and rear of the ship, overlooking her iconic paddlewheel. Outdoor seating on the first and third decks offers prime views of the area, but the true star of the restaurant is the rooftop bar, where you can enjoy an iconic Florida sunset alongside a drink and select appetizer options (when it’s open – weather can typically interfere in summer months).

House Specialties

Build-your-own seafood boils and tableside-prepared lobster guacamole are signature staples that wow tables. The crab fries and crab cakes, along with the lobster corn dogs start meals off right, alongside any one of the many raw bar offerings. Entrees run the gamut from steaks, to seafood pastas (which are best sellers and usually recommended), but your best bet is always the catch of the day, served atop crab fried rice.

Other Recommendations

The crab cake BLT and the house burger sound like typical lunch fare, but are among the most consistently solid dishes on Paddlefish’s large menu.
