Description And Comments

This show uses live actors and video clips to tell the story of Frozen. For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration is hosted by two presenters known as "Royal Historians of Arendelle," who take the audience through the events of the film. Songs from the film such as "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?," "Love is an Open Door," and "Let It Go" are played on the screen behind them. The songs and film clips shown in this attractions are the exact same ones from the film, with the addition of lyrics at the bottom of the screen. The audience is encouraged to sing-along with help from a snowflake that bounces along with the lyrics.

The production is enhanced with falling "snow" and lighting effects that make the theater walls appear to frost over. Each performance culminates with an appearance of Anna and Elsa on stage, where they lead the crowd in a second rendition of "Let It Go." Unfortunately, the script for this show isn't nearly as witty as the one used in the identically-named show at Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios park, making this sing-along more of a slog for adults than it needs to be. For a much funnier take on the same material, see the Frozen show at Fantasy Faire's Royal Theatre in Disneyland.

Note that there is no meet and greet with Anna and Elsa during or after this show. To do that you must head over to Anna & Elsa's Royal Welcome in the Animation building.

Touring Tips

The show takes place in the former home of Muppet*Vision 3D. The venue has been transformed into the Crown Jewel Theatre, with satirical show posters adorning the redecorated lobby.

Special Comments
